
Celebrating Asian Pacific American Heritage Month
As we celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage month, I invited three guests to facilitate a learning conversation.
Dr. Karen Eng is the Chief Executive Officer of CSMI. Karen has a demonstrated history of working in the process and packaging, mechanical, electrical and industrial engineering industry for manufacturing facilities across the world. She is also the Chairwoman of the National Asian/Pacific Islander American Chamber of Commerce & Entrepreneurship (ACE) Board of Directors.
Chloe Joy Ivanson is a Brooklyn based producer, actor and singer. As a singer she has performed at venues across NYC including Club Cumming, The Green Room 42, and Don’t Tell Mama. As an actor, her passion lies in developing new work. Selected credits include Providence, RI (Nightdrive), Way Up There To Way Down Here (Broad Views on Broadway), and Frizzled: A Magic School Bus Musical (The PIT).
Sergeant Major Mike Lanpolsaen is the Program Manager of the Warrior Scholar Project. He is a 30-year combat veteran and holds many distinguished military and personal awards. Sergeant Major Lanpolsaen is responsible for helping enlisted veterans and transitioning service members access opportunities in higher education and in the workplace.
