Dr. Miguel Villodas has expertise in the design, development, and quantitative analysis of clinical research studies. He has provided statistical support for large, multi-site randomized trials and longitudinal studies, using advanced quantitative methods. He also conducts grant-funded research on the development and evaluation of community-based programs to support the mental and physical well-being of ethnic/racial minority families living in communities with high concentrations of poverty, violence, and other adversities.
He has published more than 40 empirical research articles in scientific journals and teaches and supervises Clinical Psychology doctoral students in the implementation of therapeutic mental health interventions. Miguel received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, from the Joint Doctoral Program at San Diego State University and the University of California, San Diego. Miguel enjoys being active, spending time with his wife and three daughters, and coaching his daughters’ soccer teams.
