
Marisa Reynoso
Director of Operations, Life Skills Trainer & Advisor
Originally from San Diego California, Marisa Reynoso is a two time alumni from San Diego State University. Marisa earned her B.A. in Communication and M.A. in Education with emphasis in Multicultural Counseling. Marisa is certified in Trauma Informed Care bringing a holistic approach to professional guidance.
In educational settings, Marisa has been instrumental in creating educational success programs from the ground up to increase representation and retention for undergraduate STEM students from diverse backgrounds. Marisa has a proven track record as an innovative and passionate educator, constantly advocating for underrepresented communities and teaching a wide variety of Life Skill University Seminar courses.
Marisa is the Chair and Founder of the LatinX Employee Resource Group at San Diego State University, designed to build an inclusive environment for the college’s faculty and staff from various employment groups, with particular attention to employees from historically underrepresented and underserved backgrounds.
In her free time, Marisa enjoys family bike rides, stand up comedy, and cheering on her son in competitive soccer tournaments.
